Overview

Ole-Ole-Bali, nestled at Quayside Mall in Selangor, offers a vibrant taste of Balinese cuisine that captures the island’s rich culinary spirit. The restaurant, located on the ground floor, provides a welcoming yet casual ambiance, ideal for friends, families, and anyone eager to explore authentic Indonesian flavors in a modern setting.

The menu centers around traditional Balinese dishes with a modern twist. Highlights like Nasi Campur present a colorful plate of rice accompanied by various savory sides. The Bali Trio, a popular choice, features fried crispy squid, chicken satay on lemongrass sticks, and grilled wings served with distinct condiments such as sambal terasi and a tangy, sweet salad of julienned mango, papaya, cucumber, and jambu air. This attention to detail offers a balanced dance of spicy, sweet, and sour notes characteristic of Bali’s cuisine.

Seafood lovers will appreciate options like Grilled Prawns and Cumi Cumi Goreng, although occasional freshness issues have been noted by some diners. Other signature dishes such as Soto Ayam and Sate Lilit showcase the franchise’s respect for Indonesian culinary tradition, packed with fragrant spices and authentic sauces. Drinks like the Mango Smoothie and the uniquely blended avocado coffee add a refreshing complement to the richly flavored food.

While the food generally receives praise for its taste and portion sizes, customer experiences point out a variance in service quality. Staff friendliness appears inconsistent, with some guests encountering a less warm reception despite prompt service. Nevertheless, the atmosphere remains inviting, enhanced by a clean, thoughtfully decorated space that balances traditional Balinese elements with contemporary comfort.

Ole-Ole-Bali caters well to those who appreciate bold, savory profiles with fresh ingredients, making it suitable for casual diners looking for a hearty meal with vibrant flavors. The pricing aligns with the quality and experience, positioning it as a worthwhile destination for both lunch and dinner.

In summary, Ole-Ole-Bali at Quayside Mall stands as a solid choice for Balinese cuisine lovers seeking authentic dishes in a pleasant environment. While some room for improvement in service and ingredient freshness exists, the overall culinary experience remains enjoyable and true to its roots.

My preferences, definitely Bali Trio & fruits salad. Never a mistake their special sauce gets along with fruits salad. But sometimes their seafood platter is not fresh. Anyway, overall experience is still great. Hopefully, the restaurant willing to pay more attention on food freshness. Bear in mind too, not all your waiters are friendly & customer oriented.

First time dining at quayside mall outlet. Been couple of times to sunway pyramid outlet. Taste almost the same. Good job in maintaining the quality. As usual kudos for the finger licking food. This time I tried the avocado coffee, uniquely blended. Yummy.

A beautiful restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff. We had the bali trio consisting of the fried crispy squid, chicken satay on lemongrass stick, and grilled wings with 3 condiments- sambal terasi, sour cream i think and air asam.. Big portion, can be shared by 3 people. Love the sambal and the salad that comes with it which was julienned mango, cucumber, papaya and jambu air. The dressing was tangy and some sweetness. All the main meals came with this salad and i ended up finishing other people' salad as well. We also ordered grilled beef which is basically a steak and asked for well done. But it didnt came out as ordered, it was medium and had more fat than i expected. Otherwise the flavor was nice, indonesian flavors and sauce was nutty and salty. Overall, good experience. Price also not bad. Be prepared to pay service charge 10% + 6% but service was tiptop tbh. Would have given 5 if they prepared the steak as what the customer asked.

Food was excellent. Beef pasta was excellent. Nasi campur ayam was excellent. Drinks were good but prices were quite expensive. Paid rm150 for 2 pax However the customer service were so poor. Staffs didn't smile when taking order. Did not wish thank you or any greetings at the cashier counter. They look so sour and angry

A really good tasting restaurant, lots of smoked fried food, very savoury, fresh vegetables, perfect for savoury enjoyer. Price is a little steep but 100% worth the price, drinks were good, mostly spicy options but there's also non spicy. Polite staff, fast service. 10/10 would recommend.

One of the best deco and atmosphere to dine in with family and friends. Authentic Balinese food. Drinks are nothing bless to boast about. I couldn’t finish the drinks and the waiter actually helped to pack for me. Healpful, well trained and well mannered staffs. Kudos to the entire OLE OLE BALI team. This is my 3rd visit to this place and will definitely come back. Parking at basement, cashless. Packed on weekends and nights.

Never had Indonesian food before so here we are !! Place was fantastic with decor and picture hangings reflecting the island. Menu was well printed with pictures on some dishes. We had the Lime Barli and Gula Merah which is artisan coffee with a cube of sugar to start off. Then we ordered the Lemongrass Satay,Soto Ayam and Curry Chicken Rice which were a delight. Choices on the menu were plenty so order a little of everything if you have a big party!! Glad I tried.
